Job Title: Technical Service Engineer - Trainee II

Job Purpose
• To provide technical knowledge and expertise for management and maintenance personnel.
• To analyze and recommend appropriate action for the incorporation of manufacturer and vendor service bulletins and product support literature.
• To analyze and work closely with Reliability Team on issues/defects that are of operational disruption in nature and implement solutions in timely manner.
• To create complex task cards with sequence instructions to perform maintenance/rectification/modification work on Aircraft.
• To coordinate engineering/modification projects through work scoping, technical inputs and technical concurrence.
• To work closely with and communicate with Aircraft Manufacturer/Vendor/Part 21 to ensure such goals are achieved.
Job Responsibilities
• Assessment of Airworthiness Directives and other mandatory requirements for compliance.
• Analyzing and recommending appropriate action for the incorporation of manufacturer and vendor service bulletins and support literature.
• Create the Engineering Mod and Mod tasks for AD and SB assessment or instructions against the AMOS application.
• Create and control all relevant tasks stipulating the deadlines and intervals in accordance with Technical Services Instructions, approved Service Bulletin assessments and Airworthiness Directive Reviews.
• Create the staging sheet for the tasks. Ensure that the staging sheets are amended from time to time whenever a revision change, or amendment has been made to the subtasks.
• Ensure all Critical Tasks or Special Inspections tasks will be clearly & accurately annotated in the AMOS Work Order Document.
• Maintaining and developing close liaison with Production, Maintenance Planning section and Material Supply Chain section to ensure planned Engineering Tasks can be accomplished in a timely manner.
• Liaising with Forward Planning section to ensure that AD/Mandatory task and all SB in AMOS is clearly defined and understood to ensure work shall be done within the specific time scale
• Recommending action to satisfy DCA mandatory requirements when identified as applicable by the Quality Manager.
• Design of proposed modifications to aircraft and associated equipment within the scope of his specific skills.
• Coordination and control of repairs which include structural repair outside the scope of the manufacturers structural repair manual. Maintain a record of structural Damage and repair for each aircraft.
• Maintaining an accurate record of Royal Brunei Airlines aircraft Weight and Balance Reports.
• Carry out investigations, produce reports and recommendations as required.
• Maintain and develop close liaison with the various engineering sections.
• Controls, monitors and maintain record of fleet hydraulic sampling. Carry out amendments and make recommendations based upon results.
• Carry out Flight Tests when required.
• To review Airplane Flight Manual on revision.
• To review Aircraft Software’s Aircraft Configuration Report (ACR) for validity.
• Responsible for Engineering (EO) Change Request (CR) via Engineering Data management System (EDMS).
• To review Aircraft Software’s Aircraft Configuration Report (ACR) for validity.
• Through Electronic Document Management System EDMS: Stage software’s to airplane
I.Create task which will be distributed to airplanes from the Loadable Software Airplane Parts Librarian (LSAPL) to the Software Maintenance Tool (SMT).
II.Create custom part called Airline Modifiable Information (AMI) using the Ground-Based Software Tool (GBST).
