Muara Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (“MMS”) is a joint venture company responsible for providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO) to Royal Brunei Navy (“RBN”) vessels and dockyard infrastructure. We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified Bruneian professionals to fill the following positions:

Job Summary

Report to head of workshop, complying Standard Operation Procedure of work task and coordinate with customer & end user and accountable given task by their Engineer for all relevant maintenance work schedule and unscheduled to its standard and timely completion of designated work. Familiarization safe working environment in achieving cost time affective within completion designated work.

Job Description

Understand and communication instruction thoroughly the task for readiness of tools and material to comprehend the method.
Paint and blasting technology and technical drawing knowledge highly needed for the requirement.
Occupational health and safety knowledge on panting and blasting procedure.
Ensure quality, efficient and economic repair work and preservation is carried out.
Carry out work in accordance with authorized procedure and publications. Observe rules and regulations. Highlight any defect or damage which effects the safety and reliability of paint and equipment.
Utilise tools and equipment correctly. Responsible for the accountability, services and safekeeping of machine and tools. Ensure rules and regulations are observed.

Requirements

Minimum qualification TVET Diploma Level 2 or Hntec that are related to painting & blasting or any any related field.
Registered iReady Apprenticeship Programme with PPB (Pusat Pekerjaan Brunei)
Good knowledge in Microsoft Office software (especially Microsoft Excel).
Must be citizen or permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam.
