Jerudong Park Country Club Sdn Bhd is seeking qualified and dynamic individuals to join our growing family.

Unit/Section

Health, Safety, Security and Environment Department in Operation.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibility shall include, but not limited to:

- Conduct regular risk assessment across the park including rides, attractions, food courts and employee workspaces to identify potential hazards.

- Investigate incidents, accidents or near-misses to identify root causes, document findings and implement corrective actions.

- Conduct safety training for all park staff, including emergency response protocols, HSSE induction, Toolbox talk and safe operation of equipment.

- Organize regular safety drills, such as fire evacuation, to ensure staff and customers readiness.

- Conduct Health and Safety audits on park areas including rides, food courts and JPCC facilities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

- Perform regular inspections of rides, equipment and facilities to identify wear and tear, potential hazards or needed maintenance.

- Communicate safety updates, initiatives and procedures with staff and management.

- Coordinate emergency response plans and act swiftly during incidents to manage the situation and minimize risk to guests and employees.

- To act as the emergency responder during an operational hour.

- Foster a safety-first culture by promoting health and safety initiatives, awareness campaigns and best practices among employees and guests.

- To be familiar with and adhere to World Health Organization (WHO) and Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) regulatory compliance and health policy compliance.

 

Other relevant roles within Health, Safety, Security and Environment Department include:

- Teamwork and contribute in planning and executing events organized by the Department. 
- Any other assignments and instructions deemed as necessary from time to time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Higher National Diploma in Health Safety and Environment or relevant Certification.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in HSSE Field.
  • Regulatory Knowledge, familiarity with Health Regulations on SHENA and WHO.
  • Minimum IOSH Certified.
