Job Summary
The Junior People Executive (i-Ready) supports the daily operation and maintenance of people information systems, support system improvements and optimization initiatives. The role is also responsible for supporting data governance and data management activities, including in maintaining data accuracy and integrity, performing data validation and reconciliation, assisting with data cleansing and audits, and developing reports and workforce insights to ensure reliable and high-quality data for decision making.
Principles Duties and Responsibilities
- People Information Systems
- Assist in responding basic user queries and provide first-line support.
- Monitor basic system performance and escalate issues where necessary.
- Document any report system issues or bugs.
- Support system maintenance activities, including review, testing and implementation of system upgrades, patches and enhancements.
- Data Governance and Data Management
- Monitor and track employee lifecycle updates.
- Assist in checking, validation, and reconciling employee data across People Management Services.
- Support regular data cleansing activities.
- Identify and flag data discrepancies for resolution.
- Assist in periodic data audits and compliance with data standards.
- Ensure proper handling of employee data in line with governance, privacy and security policies.
- Reporting and Workforce Analytics
- Extract and prepare basic datasets from People Information Systems.
- Assist in preparing recurring HR reports.
- Support development of dashboards and workforce reporting materials.
- Performs data analytics and uses tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau and any other programming or analytical platforms to develop reports, insights, and predictive models.
- Documentation and Process Improvement Support
- Assist in developing and maintaining user guides and reference materials.
- Maintain updated records of People Information System and Data Governance processes and workflows.
- Participate in People Information System and Data Governance improvement initiatives.
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency and data quality.
- Support People Management Services digital transformation and projects.
- Undertake learning in People Information Systems, data governance and analytics tools.
- Stakeholder Support and Coordination
- Liaise and collaborates with functional and technical staff for system and data-related support activities.
- Assist in scheduling meetings and documenting discussion outcomes.
- Track action items related to People Information System and Data Governance initiatives.
- Support coordination of People System-related tasks across stakeholders.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field.
- Basic understanding of Human Resource processes and employee lifecycle concepts is an advantage.
- Experience in system support, data analytics, data management or reporting is preferred.
