Job Summary
The Medical Officer's objective is to work in a healthcare insitution and supervise clinical staff in providing cost-effective and high-quality medical care services for patients.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible in consulting patients with any health issues or presentations (which may encompass minor illness complaints, acute or emergency cases, infectious disease management, health screening/medical fitness).
- Provide clinical management which may be in the form of health advices or includes the prescription of medication and/or referral/admission to secondary care if warranted.
- Have a good communication skills and must be a team player.
- Kind, caring and show emphaty to patients and relatives.
- Keen to learn and have own initiative for self-development (continuing medical education) and is required to show progression in own training during employment period.
- Be proactive, taking initative to decelop and enhance the services.
Professional Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years of full-time clinical working experience post registration is required.
Educational requirements
- Possess a Primary Medical Degree, MBBS, or equivalent.
- Postgraduate training and qualification in a relevant medical specialty is an added advantage.

- Excellent communicaion and interpersonal skills.
