Job Title: Public Relations Executive

Job Summary
- Executes and coordinates day-to-day Public Relations (PR) activities by preparing content, supporting campaigns, coordinating materials, and ensuring marketing outputs are delivered accurately and on time.
- Supports the implementation of approved PR initiatives by liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors, maintaining marketing documentation, and ensuring compliance with branding and communication standards.
- Applies and adheres to approved PR guidelines, templates, and standard operating procedures in daily activities, supports consistency in branding and messaging, and contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of PR operations.
Principles Duties and Responsibilities
Events and Education Programmes Coordination
- Coordinate and execute day-to-day PR events, CSR activities, education programmes, and campaigns.
- Prepare and maintain event materials, schedules, attendance records, and post-event documentation.
- Liaise with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders on event preparation and logistics.
- Ensure timely delivery of PR event outputs in accordance with departmental standards.
Media Relations and Public Communications
- Draft and prepare routine media content, announcements, and public-facing updates.
- Assist in managing official communication channels, media postings, and advertising materials.
- Support the coordination and setup of press conferences and media kits.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of communication and media-related documentation.
Crisis Communication and Management Support
- Provide administrative and documentation support for crisis-related activities.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, correspondence, and communications related to crisis management.
- Escalate sensitive, urgent, or unresolved matters in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide communication support to stakeholders while safeguarding JPMC’s image, brand, and organizational goals.
Professional Requirements
- A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in relevant field of public relations, communications, or marketing, is required.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or service-oriented organization is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Educational Requirements
- A minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Creative Media, Business Administration, Marketing, or any other related field in Public Relations from an institute recognized by the Government of His Majesty of Negara Brunei Darussalam is required.
- An undergraduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Media Studies, or any other related field in Public Relations from an institute recognized by the Government of His Majesty of Negara Brunei Darussalam is preferred.
- Candidates who have equivalent qualifications through education and/or experience may be considered for assignment to this position.
Specialised Skills/Knowledge/Attribute Requirement
- Familiarity with PR principles including content preparation, media coordination, campaign support, stakeholder communication, and messaging alignment.
- Ability to use PR and digital tools for content creation, scheduling, media monitoring, and asset management.
- Knowledge of branding and messaging guidelines, visual identity standards, and approval workflows.
- Skilled in coordinating PR tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring smooth execution of campaigns, events, media engagements, content publication, CSR and advocacy programmes.
