Job Title: Administrative Clerk (BNSRC Administration)

Job Summary
- Provides clerical and administrative support to the Brunei Neuroscience, Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC), under the guidance of Administrative Executive and Director.
- Acts as point of contact for the internal and external enquiries related to the BNSRC, including the patient-facing and back-office responsibilities.
- Assist in coordinating and supporting administrative tasks related to staff, patients and research accross neuroscience, stroke and rehabilitation services.
Principles Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Support and Documentation Support
- Perform clerical and administrative task with accuracy, profesionalism under minimal supervision.
- Manage routine document handling, filing and preparation of reports or memos for the BNSRC team.
- Maintain proper filing system (physical and electronic) for administrative records and correspondence.
- Schedule appointments, meeting, and other engagements as directed by the Administrative Executive.
- Organize and process all incoming and outgoing communications (emails, phone calls, letters).
- Assist in the preparation of meeting documents, reports and printed materials.
- Attend meetings and take minutes if required, distribute agendas, attendance, and action items accordingly.
- Ensure records of meetings are kept accurate, completes and filed in a timely manner.
- Comply with all relevant health, safety, privacy and documentation policies.
- Maintain confidentiality in all duties involving patient information and organizational matters.
- Demonstrate a high standard of personal conduct and responsibility in daily tasks.
- Uphold the values and professional image of the Centre in all interactions.
- Assist with data entry relating to the staff, patients and research administration.
Patient and Visitor Interaction
- Respond to basic enquiries and provide assistance in redirecting patients, families, or visitors appropriately.
- Demonstrate a professional and courteous approach when representing BNSRC in person, by phone or via written communication.
- Provide support to ensure clinic or administrative areas are maintained in an orderly and welcoming manner.
- Liaise effectively with staff and external stakeholders in coordination of service-related requests.
Professional Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of work experience in Administration would be an advantage
Educational Requirements
- A minimum of 'O' Levels is required.
- A minimum of Diploma would be an advantage.
