Job Title:  Business Strategy and Insights Associate

Location: 

Brunei Muara, Brunei Darussalam

To support Business, Strategy and Insights Lead in shaping and executing the company’s strategic agenda by delivering high-quality analysis, insights, and reporting. The role contributes to strategic planning, market research, and performance tracking, ensuring data-driven decisions across the organization.

 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Strategic Support
  • Assist in the development and refinement of business strategies through data analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Support the planning cycle by preparing strategic reports and performance dashboards.
  • Contribute to measurement strategies that track progress on strategic initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to market research that identifies new business opportunities and customer needs.

 

  1. Insights & Analytics
  • Conduct analysis using multiple techniques to evaluate business performance and uncover strategic opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a centralized database of strategic insights, marketing intelligence and performance metrics.
  • Support foresight activities by monitoring market trends, competitor movements, and emerging industry developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into business planning and execution.

 

  1. Consumer Insights
  • Work closely with the BSI Lead and functional teams to understand stakeholder needs and select appropriate research methodologies.
  • Translate consumer data into actionable insights that inform all relevant functions.
  • Support the use of common research tools to ensure consistent benchmarking and trend analysis.

 

  1. Reporting & Communication
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports combining analytics with business context.
  • Ensure timely and accurate flow of information to management to guide strategic decisions.
  • Assist in crafting narratives and presentations that communicate business performance and growth opportunities.

 

  1. Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, regional teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery of insights.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.

 

 

SKILLS

 

  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Ability to clean, analyze and visualize data efficiently.
  • Understanding of business models, market dynamics, and strategic frameworks.
  • Ability to connect data insights to strategic objectives.
  • Skilled in conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Familiarity with industry databases and market intelligence platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create compelling presentations for senior stakeholders.
