Cashier in Playground Department (1)

Main Roles and Responsibilities

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for processing transactions efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. This role ensures accuracy in handling payments, adherence to company policies, and a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet guests professionally, answer inquiries, and provide information on products, services, and promotions that are currently available.

  • Transaction Processing: Operate cash registers and POS systems, handling cash, credit/debit, and digital payments accurately.

  • Financial Accountability: Maintain a balanced cash drawer, follow cash-handling policies, and report any discrepancies.

  • Sales Support: Promote special offers, upsell products, and enhance the guest experience.

  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.

  • Workplace Maintenance: Ensure the cashier station remains clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary materials.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily stationed at ticket booths, retail outlets, or food service counters.

  • Standing for extended periods; occasional lifting of light materials.

  • Regular interaction with guests of all ages in a dynamic, high-energy setting.

Minimum Requirement

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 O'Level or equivalent.

  • Experience in handling POS System and Cash Register, have experience in Cashier position is an advantage.

  • Strong numerical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high guest volumes.
