Job Title: Health Information Executive

Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring, monitoring and documentation of all healthcare information in terms of accurateness, appropriateness and completeness in order to meet the hospital standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the implementation and compliance of all JPMC and departmental policies and procedures.
Oversee and maintain the quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security of hospital policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the Quality and Patient Safety (QPS) team to review and assess quality performance, ensuring effective application of quality standards and procedures within the hospital.
Support the development and review of hospital policies and procedures related to quality management.
Ensures reporting analysis and dissemination of quality indicators and integrates them into the hospital quality plan and program.
Contribute to the compilation and reporting of daily bed census, consultation logs, and other hospital productivity data.
Analyze data trends and generate insights from hospital and patient data to inform management decisions, enhance patient care, and optimize hospital operations.
Design and develop data dashboards, visualizations, and reporting tools to improve accessibility and understanding of key performance metrics.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in analytics processes through regular audits and validation checks.
Provide mentoring for Quality Link staff on the development of quality indicators and management of Quality-Link initiated projects.
Collaborate with the ICT Department to enhance data management systems and streamline reporting processes, improving efficiency in data collection, storage, and analysis.
Prepare and submit statistical reports as required by governmental agencies.
Extract and retrieve data for evaluation, planning, and research purposes related to health programs and medical investigations.
Supervise Quality Assurance Clerk in the absence of the Head of Quality and Patient Safety or Quality Assurance Officer, or as required.
Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management / Records Management / Public Health / Clinical / Computer Science / Data Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Data Analytics or similar
OR
High National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management / Records Management / Public Health / Clinical / Computer Science / Mathematics / Data Science / Statistics / Data Analytics or similar AND a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Statistics or relevant Field.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of medical records management, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge and skills in database development and management.
Fluent in oral and written English.
