Muara Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (“MMS”) is a joint venture company responsible for providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO) to Royal Brunei Navy (“RBN”) vessels and dockyard infrastructure. We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified Bruneian professionals to fill the following positions:
Job Summary
ICT Technician provides ICT related support for Muara Maritime Services (MMS) including purchase, repair and setup of ICT equipment and deployments. Provides technical support and assistance to all users within Muara Maritime Services Including guest, visitors and business partners. Ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems and support for networks and security systems.
Key Responisibilities
1 Setting up and configuring computer systems, software, and networks, including hardware components like printers and other peripherals.
2 Diagnosing and resolving basic hardware and software issues reported by users, often acting as the first point of contact for ICT support.
3 Performing routine maintenance on hardware and software, ensuring systems are up to date with security patches and updates.
4 Maintaining records of repairs, fixes, and inventory of hardware and software.
5 Providing clear and concise technical guidance to users, both verbally and in writing, on how to use software and hardware.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIRED
Qualifications
1. Diploma in Computer Science
2. Relevant Microsoft Certification
3. Past Corporate Experience Dealing with IT troubleshooting
Work Experience
- 1 year in Similar Position.
