Job Summary
Responsible for the supervision of engineering and maintenance of physical plants, electrical pumps, water pumps and other HVAC related equipment.
Education Requirements
Degree in Maintenance or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
Professional Experience
Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the repair of equipment
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Performs engineering assignments associated with the design, construction, performance enhancement, cost effectiveness, operation, and maintenance of various plant equipment and systems within the premises of the Hospital
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications
- Assess thermal requirements and developing alternative solutions to achieve required heating and cooling capacities at various site
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance on heating and air conditioning equipment (e.g., checking fluid levels, condition of belts and pulleys, oiling/greasing motors, replacing filters, cleaning and painting machinery, etc.) to efficiently maintain climate control equipment and ensure satisfactory climate control in buildings.
- Operate central HVAC systems, individual/zoned units and related equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of HVAC units and auxiliary equipment/systems.
- Commissioning of new HVAC related Equipment
- Repair, maintenance and assessment of HVAC related Equipment
- Maintains a variety of documents (e.g., inspections, performance report, and maintenance/repairs documentation) to provide an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.
- Investigate any equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose a faulty operation
- Able to resolve any technical/site issues.

Other Responsibilities
- Acts as the Company’s representative during company business meetings with external clients, visitors or guests. Required to collect and research relevant data for reporting purposes.
- Provides support to all other Company partners (i.e., GJPMC) in relation to administrative duties and responsibilities as outlines above.
- Perform all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner at all times and contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Attend all mandatory training or professional development sessions on a yearly basis or as required.
- Take an active role in departmental meetings and encourage participation from fellow staff members
- Maintain highest level of confidentiality at all times, only releasing confidential information obtained in the course of employment to those.
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Perform all other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
