Unit/Section

Little Kingdom Petting Zoo unit under Playground Department.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

• Assisting in Monitoring, feeding and ensuring the welfare of animals under supervision.
• Helping maintain clean and safe habitats/enclosures to ensure animal health and safety.
• Observing animal behavior and reporting any irregularities or concerns to senior staff.
• Assisting in educational activities, such as preparing materials for publics presentations or demonstrations.
• Supporting the development and delivery of educational talks about animals for visitors.
• Assisting in building relationships with visitors, colleagues, and external partners.
• Contributing to basic research tasks, including gathering data and assisting with simple reports on animal care.
• Supporting fundraising activities and suggesting ideas for improving animal care practices.
• Helping to train and support new staff members or volunteers, as directed by senior staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Animal Science or related field is generally required.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in related field.
