Unit/Section

Recruitment, Training & Development, Human Resources and Administration Department

Main Roles and Responsibilities

Recruitment roles shall include, but not limited to:

- End-to-end recruitment tasks covering from advertisement of job vacancies, screening and evaluation of applicants, scheduling and represent HR in interviews, compiling interview results, processing offer letters up to onboarding.
- Working closely and consistent communication with Hiring Managers to ensure recruitment and hiring of personnels run smoothly.
- Processing applications for Certificate of Good Conduct / police clearance for new hires prior to making a full offer.
- Onboarding new hires –  organize HR induction sessions and bringing on office tours.
- Submit onboarding documentations to the Administration and Payroll team for personnel filing and salary processes.
- Regular updates of the Recruitment Progress Tracker.

 

Training roles shall include, but not limited to:

- Identify training and development needs for JPCC employees through job analysis, appraisal schemes and consultation with Head of Departments.
- Design training and development programmes based on the needs of the Company and the employees.
- Evaluate effectiveness of the programmes and prepare reports for the Management in areas such as usage, engagement and performance.
- Plan and assess the 'Return on Investment' of any training or development programme, considering the costs of planned programmes and keeping within budgets.
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees through appraisals, questionnaires and discussions with Head of Departments.
- Promote a work culture of continuing professional development.
- Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research.
- Regular updates of the Employee Training Tracker.

 

Other relevant roles within Human Resources and Administration Department include:

- Teamwork and contribute in planning and executing events organized by the Department.
- To be familiar with and adhere to HRA standard procedures and the Company’s Standard Terms of Employment at all times.
- Any other assignments and instructions deemed as necessary from time to time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration/Social Sciences; OR
  • Working experience in Recruitment and Employee Learning/Training programmes atleast 3 years.
  • Familiarity in using Human Resources Management System will be an added advantage. 
  • Familiarity in using DA's Centralised Recruitment System (CRS) will be an added advantage.
