Job Title: People Officer (Culture & Engagement)

Job Summary
- Lead and manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of employee engagement, organisational culture, and employee experience initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
- Partner with leaders, managers, and stakeholders across the organisation to strengthen employee engagement, promote organisational values, and enhance workplace culture aligned with JPMC's strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement employee engagement programmes, recognition initiatives, wellbeing activities, and internal communication campaigns that improve employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.
- Manage employee engagement surveys, culture assessments, feedback mechanisms, and employee listening initiatives while analysing results and recommending improvement strategies.
- Lead the planning and coordination of organisation-wide employee events, appreciation programmes, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, and cultural initiatives that reinforce JPMC's Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
- Promote employee wellbeing by coordinating health, wellness, diversity, inclusion, and work-life balance initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse employee engagement indicators, culture metrics, participation rates, and employee feedback to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Supervise the Culture & Engagement support team by providing leadership, coaching, work allocation, and performance oversight to ensure effective delivery of engagement initiatives.
- Lead culture transformation projects, employee experience improvements, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen organisational effectiveness.
- Ensure all employee engagement and culture initiatives comply with JPMC policies, employment legislation, organisational values, and governance requirements while delivering an exceptional employee experience.
Principles Duties and Responsibilities
- Employee Engagement Strategy & Programme Management
- Lead and implement employee engagement strategies aligned with organisational priorities and People Strategy objectives.
- Organisational Culture Development
- Promote and embed JPMC's mission, vision, values, and behavioural expectations across the organisation.
- Employee Experience & Wellbeing
- Develop and coordinate employee wellbeing programmes.
- Employee Recognition & Appreciation
- Develop and administer employee recognition and appreciation programmes.
- Internal Communication & Employee Listening
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys and pulse surveys.
- Employee Events & Community Engagement
- Lead planning and execution of employee events.
- Culture Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor employee engagement KPIs
- Culture & Engagement Team Leadership
- Supervise People Executives, People Assistants and People Support personnel.
- Culture Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead employee engagement projects and organisational culture initiatives.
- Employee Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure employees receive a positive and engaging workplace experience throughout their employment lifecycle.
Professional Requirements
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of working experience in Human Resources, Employee Engagement, Organisational Development, Internal Communications, or Learning & Development is required.
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of supervisory or unit leadership experience is required.
- Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Educational Requirements
- A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any other related field from an institute recognized by the Government of His Majesty is required.
- Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any other related or any other related field in Public Relations from an institute recognized by the Government of His Majesty of Negara Brunei Darussalam is preferred.
