Job Title: Mechanic

This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient functioning of all machinery and equipment used in paddy farming operations. This includes installation and fabrication of all required company equipment and machinery as required by the Farming Operations Department. To ensure that downtime is minimized and equipment is safe and operational throughout the farming cycle.

Job Description

Conduct routine maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery within the company paddy field and facilities
Conduct fabrication activities to support farming operations as and when required.
Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities. Monitor spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed.
Assist officer and technician for inspection and maintenance activities

Education

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
At least two (2) years of working experience as a mechanic is an added advantage.
Experience in paddy plantation or agricultural machinery is highly preferred.
Must be physically fit and capable of lifting moderately heavy loads as part of daily tasks.
