Job Title:  SCADA Operator

Location: 

Kuala Belait , Belait, Brunei Darussalam

Responsible for monitoring and operating the SCADA system in large-scale paddy farming operations.

Ensures efficient real-time control of irrigation systems, pumps, and field sensors to maintain optimal paddy field conditions. 

Job Description

  • Monitor and operate SCADA systems to control and track irrigation, pump operations, and sensor readings in paddy fields.

  • Record and report daily operational data including water usage, soil moisture, pump status, and system alarms.

  • Respond to alerts and abnormalities, escalate issues to the Operations Manager when needed.

  • Ensure adherence to system protocols and scheduled tasks for optimal performance.

  • Assist in planning maintenance based on system performance and downtime windows.

  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of all activities in the control system.

  • Communicate operational requirements and real-time field conditions to senior staff.

  • Support in compliance audits and suggest improvements for efficiency and automation.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
