Job Title:  Senior Officer - Safety Management

Job Summary

This position runs the safety management activities such as reviewing, evaluating and processing safety reports, analysing data, hazard identification and risk assessment, monitoring and measuring safety risk, change management, safety promotion, and report writing and recommendations to minimize the risks in the Airline (AOC) and Engineering (145) Operations of demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business.

Skills

• Preferred training in Risk Management and Accident Investigation Techniques and safety auditing.
• Conversant with ICAO 9859 and IOSA ORG standards or regulatory SMS requirements;
• Proven experience in auditing, report writing and event investigation;
• Strong organizational, interpersonal & communication skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments;
• Has the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow, strong mentoring and coaching skills, ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills;
• Possessing the capability to conduct data analysis would be a professional advantage. 

Education

• Degree holder  in Engineering, Diploma holder of an internationally recognized course in Aviation Safety Management Systems,
• Has garnered a total of 5 days in any Aviation SMS course or a holder of an SMS Diploma from a reputable training provider;
• Minimum 7 years working experience, including 5 years  experience as a Safety Officer in Airline Operations or any aviation environment;
• Proven experience of demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business;
