Job Title:  Human Resources Associates

PURPOSE OF ROLE

To provide administrative support for recruitment and general Human Resources functions.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Primary
1. To administer recruitment of employees
• Actively sourcing local applicants wherever available for all levels and positions 
• Ensuring all vacancies are promptly advertised internally and via the Job Centre 
• Organising newspaper and agency advertising as required
• Ensuring all applicants receive appropriate and timely correspondence
• Obtaining references for all potential employees prior to commencement 
• Tracking applications and following up on responses 
• Arranging police and narcotics checks for all employees 
• Preparing contracts of employment and new starter forms 
• Communicating, facilitating and following up the processes proactively to be efficient 
• Ensuring that contract letters for new hires are accurate and timely 
• Arranging new starter induction
• Processing employment visas, entry visas, medical and other approvals required for expats  
• Setting up and running recruitment events in-house

 

Secondary
2. To support the achievement of positive engagement to aid understanding and motivation

4. Support performance management in a reasonable way, whilst complying with Brunei law

6. Supporting the general administration

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Education
• A HND or Degree in Human Resources Management (Essential)
• A good command of both written and spoken English (Essential)
• Capability and commitment to continue self-learning of systems and processes 


2. Experience
• Previous administration experience in a confidential environment


3. Physical requirements 
• Physically capable of carrying out the duties of the post
• Shift working to cover 7 days per week from 7am to 6pm on a roster basis including weekends and public holidays


4. Functional Knowledge
