Job Title: Junior Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

PURPOSE OF ROLE
To provide management/ leadership in delivering excellent service across all F&B outlets, in compliance with Halal, HACCP and LQA standards
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
- Supporting and overseeing daily F&B operations to deliver service to the SOPs and LQA standards
- Facilitating and coordinating service between the kitchen, service team and other departments
- Monitoring food and service quality, engaging and responding to guests
- Conducting briefings and meetings
- Providing on-the-job training to uphold performance and grooming standards
- Assisting with scheduling, manpower planning and basic administrative reporting
- Coordinating and overseeing the execution of events, promotions and special functions
- Monitoring stock levels, supporting ordering processes and ensuring proper inventory control
- Supporting the implementation of Halal and HACCP compliance controls

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
1. Education
- Hospitality degree (essential)
- Excellent level of written and spoken English (essential)
2. Experience
- Five years’ experience as a restaurant manager in a luxury hotel
3. Physical requirements
- Physically capable of carrying out all aspects of the role
- Hours to suit the business needs over 7 days including weekends and Public Holiday
4. Functional Knowledge
- Micros / POS / Microsoft Office 365 (essential)
- Food Safety Level 3 (essential)
- HALAL certification and licensing
- Luxury hotel F&B service standards and organisation
- Operational experience of managing large events / functions
- Administration and controls
- Coaching and development of staff
